Gay guide to the 2012 Vancouver International Fringe Festival

Each year hundreds of productions vie for a spot at the Vancouver International Fringe Festival, chosen by chance via a non-juried lottery; literally picked from a hat. This year, Vancouver’s queer community hit the jackpot with 14 shows over the Festival’s eleven days.

With everything from a bisexual coming out story to a frothy teen musical, the queer options this year could very well be the poster children of diversity for the Fringe’s eclectic mix of uncensored theatrical offerings.  Here is our guide to the queer shows at the 2012 Vancouver International Fringe Festival with descriptions from the artists themselves.  Be sure to watch for our full coverage of the Fringe including show previews and reviews in the coming weeks.

Their uninhibited sexual explorations transform and re-ignite their love in astonishing, counterintuitive ways.
