Meet Chris Bolton/Conni Smudge

Chris Bolton has yearned for the spotlight ever since being a young child. He attended Gastown Actors Studio where he was inspired under the tutelage of the phenomenal Jessica Van Der Veen.

Developing a character named Conni Smudge has been a twenty year journey and it has been his most rewarding to date. “She” has taken him all over the Globe. Conni’s wit, charm and approachable nature has afforded her the honour of performing in the most unlikely of places. From the biker bars of Nanaimo to the grand theatres of Europe, Mz Smudge has done them all.

By day, Chris has been everything from a front desk concierge for a leading travel company, to a bulk lubricant sales person for Imperial Oil. At present he is a Social Event Coordinator for Out to Lunch Catering. Building strong relationships with people is his passion.

Chris/Conni will next be seen in the Ghost Light Projects production of Drag Queens On Trial at the PAL Theatre March 10 – 17, 2012.
