Positive Living BC is once again honouring the heroes of the BC HIV/AIDS movement with AccolAIDS 2014 and is in search of nominations.

Positive Living BC is once again honouring the heroes of the BC HIV/AIDS movement with AccolAIDS 2014 and is in search of nominations.

A biennial award, AccolAIDS honours the achievements and dedication of organizations, businesses, groups and individuals responding to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in British Columbia, and the thousands of people living in BC who are affected.

Nominations for the AccolAIDS 2014 awards will be accepted until Friday, February 28, 2014. A total of six awards to be handed out this year, including a new youth-specific award, with the recipients being honoured at a gala event on Sunday, April 13, 2014.

Tickets to the gala which includes cocktails, dinner, entertainment, and silent and live auctions are available online.  All proceeds will go to benefit the programs and services provided by the Positive Living Society of British Columbia.

With a membership of more than 5,400 HIV-positive members and a history spanning three decades, Positive Living BC is Western Canada’s largest AIDS service organization and an established leader in the HIV/AIDS movement.
