Hugs don’t give you AIDS

As part of its World AIDS Day celebrations on December 1, AIDS Vancouver volunteers will be out giving out free hugs.

redribbon-globe“This is just one way of raising awareness around the fact that HIV is a difficult infection to transmit- you can’t get HIV from a hug,” says AIDS Vancouver on their website.

At the Granville and Burrard Skytrain stations from 10am to 6pm, volunteers can be identified by their red ribbon scarves.
