Vancouver's Rainbow Concert Band presents A Dark and Stormy Night Before Christmas

Vancouver’s Rainbow Concert Band closes out the year with its winter concert A Dark and Stormy Night Before Christmas.

As the nights are getting longer and in celebration of the season the band will present a program of night-themed music mixed with some of your favourite holiday songs.  In addition to the evening of music, under the direction of Christopher Johnston, there will also be a sing-along, silent auction, and a 50/50 draw.

The Rainbow Concert Band is the first, and still the only one of its kind in Canada providing an outlet for LGBTQ people who are looking for a safe and supportive environment to practice and perform music. The Band is always on the look-out for new members and no audition is required. The group welcomes instrumentalists of all ages and abilities.

The Rainbow Concert Band presents A Dark and Stormy Night Before Christmas at Vancouver Community College (1155 East Broadway) in Auditorium Room 2010 on Saturday, December 6 at 7:30pm.

Tickets are available at Little Sisters, Sophie’s Pet Palace or online at Brown Paper Tickets.  Visit http://www.rainbowband.ca for more information.
