UVA Wine Bar is welcoming all excitable Vancouverites to a one-night-only cocktail battle that will pit their own bartenders against each another in the Battle of the Bedazzled – A Mexican Standoff competition on Sunday, April 6. Watach as UVA bartenders Kenneth Rose, Ian Dayang, Tim Hoult, Lily Duong, and Arthur Wynne vie for bragging rights and a coveted spot competing on behalf of UVA in the BC Hospitality Foundation’s annual Dish ‘n Dazzle fundraiser in May.
Film Feast is an intriguing pop-up that pairs an appetite-inducing movie with food. This hybrid of film and food takes place on April 10 at Lost + Found Café with food from three seasoned restaurant industry professionals serving a delectable menu while the 1985 “ramen western” Tampopo plays on the big screen.

On April 25 you can enjoy a five course meal expertly prepared by the Chef and staff from Delta Vancouver Suites. Each course is paired with wines from Poplar Grove Winery, with owner Tony Holler on hand to describe and tell the story behind each wine. Proceeds from the evening go to Mission Possible, providing street-level care for those with immediate and critical needs in Vancouver.
