This week is mostly about the party with a little queer disco, a trip into outer space and a celebration of a music legend.  Here are picks for the coming week in (gay) Vancouver:

Tonight is Forever (Apr 22) is all about disco with DJs Nikki Nevver, Taffi Louis and Killdear.  Whether it’s Italo-Disco, 80s, glam, divas or even some modern guilty pleasures this a night where outrageous costumes, wigs, leather, glitter, drag, and extreme make up are all strongly encouraged.

Is there life on other planets? Where is the Final Frontier? What happened to Elvis? Discover answers to these and many other existential questions at Night Circus: Space Cruise (Apr 25 & 26). This queer friendly night features burlesque, circus, live music and theatre: think a charmingly campy Caribbean cruise meets Star Trek with a hint of Cirque du Soleil.

Truckerdisco (Apr 26) is back celebrating the innovations and influence of pioneer music producer Giorgio Moroder, in honour of his 74th Birthday. And don’t forget it is B.Y.O.M. (Bring Your Own Moustache)!  Featuring DJ Taffi Louis.
