A couple of fundraisers and one for the ladies, this week in (gay) Vancouver is shaping up to be one that will do you some good.  Here are picks for the next seven days.

Celebrating its 20th Anniversary Dining Out For Life is BC’s largest restaurant fundraiser, raising funds for Friends for Life and A Loving Spoonful. Dine out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner on Tuesday, March 24 at participating restaurants and they will contribute 25% of their food sales that day to these local not-for-profits who provide meals to those affected by HIV/AIDS, nutritional counseling, meal planning, and in-home end-of-life care.

Motown Meltdown is inspired by the critically acclaimed film “Standing In The Shadows Of Motown” and will feature over 25 hot-shot Canadian vocalists, backed by a scorching 12-piece band.  Best part?  It is all designed to help raise funds for the Shooting Stars Foundation who raises money for people with HIV/AIDS.
