Friends For Life is Off to the Races for an afternoon of equine excitement at Hastings Racecourse.

The West End is invaded, the Monarchists get together and Friends For Life are off to the races are all part of this week in (gay) Vancouver.

East meets West for a night of debauchery as Peach Cobblah finds herself out of East Van and into the West End for Shame Spiral (May 27). Billed as a night of drag, perverse games, and true shame spiral stories this week’s special guest is Cruella De Vag and music from DJ Jef Leppard.

The Dogwood Monarchist Society holds its Annual General Meeting (May 27),  The meeting is open to everyone, but you do need to be a paid member to vote.

Friends For Life is Off to the Races (May 31) for an afternoon of equine excitement as they thank donors, sponsors and volunteers for their support this past year. Under the private marquee next to the starting gate, it will be a fantastic vantage point for the races.  Wear your hoe-down country best or your best Ascot fascinating fascinator for an afternoon of food, fun and promised surprises.
