This week its all about love and Valentine’s Day as we present three events that will get your libido going on the day for lovers, not haters.

French may be the language of love, but dance may very well be the art of love. This year Dances for a Small Stage explores amour with a special Valentine's Edition (Feb 11-14). The stage may be small, but the emotions will be big as the artists explore the many faces of love.

The People's Prom

The 16th Annual People’s Prom (Feb 13) may not just be about love, but there are sure to be plenty of opportunities to make out. The prom you never had in high school, organizers call it “a radical, community-oriented, anti-capitalist, queer, cross-dressing, gender bending, bike loving, slow dancing, big dress wearing, good time.” Photo by Robimus Prime / Facebook

Lord and Lady Valentine Competition

The Rhinestone Phoenix Charity Foundation (RPCF) & Mr, Ms & Miss Gay Vancouver present the 2016 Lord and Lady Valentine Competition (Feb 14). A fundraiser for the RPCF the winners will receive honourary titles and will be invited to continue assisting in and participating at RPCF fundraising events using these titles.
