Film might be the focus of the 2010 Vancouver Queer Film Festival but with seven different parties taking place over its eleven days, there is no denying that celebrating our diversity is just as important as watching it on the big screen.
Sure there are the usual opening, centerpiece and closing gala parties but what about a party specifically designed to celebrate the Queer History Project and Coast is Queer films? Or even a party where film isn’t the focus at all but where artists of another kind are?
So plan those disco naps carefully between your Festival screenings, as we present a guide to this year’s Vancouver Queer Film Fest parties. And in the immortal words of one famous Canadian film actor: “Party on Garth”!
