Dean Paul GibsonAs an actor, Dean has been seen on stage across the country and in various film and television roles. Dean has been honoured with Jessie Richardson Awards for his acting and directing.

Earlier this year Dean completed work as director on Studio 58’s production of Where’s Charley? and directed The 25th Annual Puttnam County Spelling Bee for Theatre Calgary.

Dean traveled with the national tour of the acclaimed production The Overcoat for the Vancouver Playhouse and was a member of the original award-winning production in 1997. He was featured in the award winning GreenThumb production of Problem Child, which garnered him his Jessie Richardson award.

Dean has also taught classes and workshops for Backstage, MainStage, Capilano College and Bard on the Beach. Dean is a graduate of Vancouver’s Studio 58 professional theatre training program.

Dean returns to Bard on the Beach in 2010 directing Much Ado About Nothing and starring in Falstaff (Henry IV, Parts I & II).
