Spend 69 seconds with Vancouver actor and musician Kholby Wardell, who can currently be seen as Noel Gruber in the Atomic Vaudeville production of Ride The Cyclone.
01Your first job.
I worked in a local grocery store in the deli department. I was known as “the singing deli-boy.”
02The job you wanted as a child.
Actor or Singer. Or a Lawyer, a Doctor, Detective, a friend on “Friends,” an architect or a designer of roller coasters!!! Acting and Singing sort of allow me to do all of these things, right? I’m a Doctor, right?
03One word your best friend would use to describe you.
Harry Potter. He may not have always been popular, but he always did what he thought was right.
05Your biggest indulgence.
I have the BIGGEST sweet tooth. I want candy, chocolate, chips and ice cream at all times.
06Complete this sentence: I first kissed a boy…
… while watching Fargo in my bedroom. My mom was in the next room. She knocked on my door and pleaded with me to leave my it open because there was no air flow in our apartment with it closed. I was sure she didn’t know what we were doing. A few minutes later, however, she came back into my room and offered this: “If you need any hints on how to give a good blowjob, I’ve been told I give great ones.”
07One thing no one knows about you.
I read Craigslist ‘missed connections’ almost every day in whichever city I am in. Not because I hope that someone ‘liked’ me on the bus, or ferry, or in a book store, or library, or at the beach. I don’t go to any of the places and certainly don’t ever go there hoping to find my soul mate, especially book stores and libraries (yes, I do). Stop harassing me about it.
08The three things you would want with you on a deserted island.
A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin (the fantasy novels on which Game of Thrones is based.) The Spice Girls discography, movies, documentaries, interviews, videos, books, candies, lollipops, posters and any related merchandise. (It’s all in one box, so I’m allowed!). Nicole Kidman.
09The one thing you are most proud of.
My ability to always have a sense of humour and look on the bright side of life.
10The one place or thing you always take visitors to see/do when they come to Vancouver.
The sea wall and Third Beach in Stanley Park on bikes.
