For 80 years now the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau has been helping to spread joy for those less fortunate during the holiday season.
Since it was first established in 1930, the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau has evolved into a central, year round toy warehouse where over 60,000 toys are gathered, sorted and shipped to twelve local Christmas bureaus. In addition, the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau also distributes clothes and food vouchers to approximately 1,800 families in Vancouver.
Supported by various organizations and events such as the Vancouver Motorcycle Toy Run, The Province Empty Stocking Fund and the annual Christmas Wish Breakfast at the Pan Pacific, the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau continues to help ensure that Christmas is a happy time for everyone, especially children.
During this holiday season consider making a donation to this or another charity of your choice.
For eighty years the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau has strived to ensure that every child in our community has a smile on their face Christmas Day. Visit http://www.lmcb.ca for more information.
