Who doesn’t like a little dim sum now and again? And to have it served by a local celebrity only makes those tiny morsels of goodness seem even more mouth-watering special.

Now in its eighth year, Celebrity Dim Sum is a  signature fundraising event for AIDS Vancouver, once again hosted by The Vancouver Courier’s man-about-town Fred Lee and Global BC Morning News co-anchor Sophie Lui.

And while the dim sum might get you in the door, it is also the opportunity to meet and network with some our city’s celebrities that makes it extra special. This year’s celebrities invites include the likes of Mayor Gregor Robertson, actress Diana Bang (The Interview), Joy TV’s Carmen Ruiz y Laza, actor/comedian Nelson Wong, Virgin Radio’s Jonny Staub and Sister Sweet Cherribum of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence..

All proceeds go to supporting the work of AIDS Vancouver, where over 7,000 people from all over the world are annually accessing some form of service provided by the organization.

The 8th Annual Celebrity Dim Sum takes place at the Four Seasons Hotel (791 West Georgia St, Vancouver) on Sunday, October 4. Tickets and more information are available online at http://aidsvancouver.org.
