On June 24: Tee Off to Fight Bullying

Despite all of the attention it has received lately, bullying still remains a problem. One organization that is making a difference is the Q Foundation through its scholarship fund, recognizing the contributions made by students who have participated in addressing discrimination in school, in sport, or in life.

On June 24 Tee Off to Fight Bullying at Vancouver's University Golf ClubTo help raise much needed funds for the scholarship and to support the ongoing work of SOLOS: Safe Online Outreach Society, the Foundation is hosting Tee Off to Bullying, a golf tournament at Vancouver’s University Golf Club.

With a Texas Scramble format, the Q Golf Invitational is the perfect opportunity for players of all skill levels (from beginner to experienced) to golf while helping to raise funds.  Your $150 entry includes the round of golf, a cart, lunch and an evening gala dinner, which itself will also include prizes and a silent auction.

Bullying in our schools, in sport and in life continues to be a signifigant issue facing people from all walks of life – and it starts in school. Through the Q Scholarahip and Grant program it is our hope that we can help students better understand why bullying holds us all back as a community, and encourage them to support programs that promote equality and fairness. All people have the right to live their lives without fear, without discrimination, without bullying.
