The statistics are staggering: this year 4,100 will die of prostrate cancer, nearly 22,000 people in Canada will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer and more young men between the ages of 15-29 will be diagnosed with testicular cancer than any other. Beginning March 6, the Health Initiative for Men (HIM) presents a series of seminars on these common cancers among men.
In association with the Oncology Advocacy group from Internal Medicine at the University of British Columbia, Health Initiative For Men (HIM) will host presentations on these three common cancers among men.
Held on Tuesday evenings beginning March 6th at the HIM office at 310 – 1033 Davie Street, each workshop will include a 45 minute presentation followed by a Q&A session. Participants are encouraged to bring the below-the-belt questions you’ve always wanted to ask.
