Closed contest: enter to win two tickets to see Wanda Sykes in Vancouver

Our contest to win two tickets to see Margaret Cho at JFL Northwest on February 24 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre is now closed. Congratulations to Adam Steele of Vancouver, who will enjoy a night of comedy with a guest.

Out since 2008, Wanda Sykes has been called “one of the funniest stand-up comics” by her peers and ranked among Entertainment Weekly’s 25 Funniest People in America. Her smart-witted stand up has sent her career in many different areas including her HBO comedy specials and can currently be seen on the Amazon Prime show Alpha House created by Gary Trudeau. Last year she made a return to HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, and spent five years on CBS’s New Adventures of Old Christine. Her film credits are just as impressive. In 2010 Sykes was presented the Stephen F. Kolzak Award at the annual GLAAD Media Awards for her strong commitment to educating the public about the lives of LGBT people.

Sykes is among a long list of comedy luminaries at this year’s JFL Northwest, Vancouver’s comedy festival and takes to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre stage on February 24. Visit for tickets and information.

Contest rules: the contest is open to Canadian residents (except Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their home Province. No purchase is required to enter. The contest closes on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 5pm Pacific time. All entries received up until that point will be placed in a random draw for two tickets to see Wanda Sykes live at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre (650 Hamilton St, Vancouver) on February 24, 2016. Prize value is estimated at $130.00 for the two tickets (exact seats and value are to be determined by the contest sponsor at time of drawing). Tickets have no cash value and must be accepted as awarded. All other costs associated with attending the concert are the responsibility of the winner. E&EO.
