Riverview High: no summer vacation for these kids

School may be out for most, but the kids of Riverview High are hard at work as the critically acclaimed musical pick of the 2012 Vancouver Fringe returns for a summer run at the Firehall Arts Centre.

Inspired by the Archie comic books, this homegrown musical tells the familiar story of a love triangle between a sweet blonde, a sexy brunette, and an ever-so-confused redhead.  Throw in a hotdog eating best friend who has a secret crush and you end up with a show that “puts a twist on the sweetly familiar”.

Culture Vulture David C Jones talks with members of the cast and director Mike Mackenzie to find out what these kids are up to during their summer vacation.
