Following the success of his hugely popular and critically acclaimed solo-acoustic tour, Bryan Adams is returning to small venues across the country with a string of intimate performances including a return to Vancouver at the Orpheum Theatre on October 1st and 2nd.
While at first glance the 2,790 seat Orpheum Theatre might not be the first venue that comes to mind for an intimate performance, when compared to somewhere like GM Place the Orpheum is downright cozy.
Adams brings his world tour in support of his latest album 11 to Vancouver on October 1st and 2nd. Tickets go on sale Monday, June 8th at Ticketmaster online or by phone at 604-280-4444. Ticket prices are $115.00, $79.50 & $49.50.
Nominated for countless awards including Grammy’s, Golden Globes and Academy Awards, in 2006, Adams was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and has been awarded the Order of Canada.
Along with his current tour, Adams is set to be pictured on the second series of the Canadian Recording Artist Series to be issued by Canada Post Stamps this summer along with Stompin’ Tom Connors, Robert Charlebois and Edith Butler. The first in this stamp series featuring Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, Paul Anka and Anne Murray, was released in the summer of 2007.
