Welcome to the first week of fall! Here are some ideas to help celebrate the first full weekend of the new season.

Broadway: Gallop to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre as Broadway Across Canada brings War Horse to the stage until September 29, 2013.

Culture: Look around every corner of the city this weekend and you’ll probably run into Culture Days activities.

Stage: The new season at The Cultch is underway with the comedy Penelope, running until October 13, 2013.

Jerk It: Head upstairs to the Oasis Ultra Lounge on Friday and shake your stuff to the sounds of DJs Robo Santos (San Francisco) and Colby B (NYC) at Jerk It Fridays.

Dance: Electronic performers ZEDD bring their Moments Of Clarity Tour to the Commodore Ballroom for two shows, Friday and Saturday

Soccer: Last week’s win over Montreal kept their playoff hopes alive but every game is now a must win as the Whitecaps FC host Real Salt Lake at BC Place Saturday afternoon at 4pm

Country: Award winning country artist, Jason Aldean, brings his Night Train tour, featuring Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett, to Rogers Arena on Saturday night at 7:30pm

Show: Have a whale of a time as Noah And The Whale perform at The Vogue Theatre on Saturday September 28, 2013 at 8pm
