Our guide to Vancouver Pride 2011

Each year Vancouver welcomes the world to its annual Gay Pride celebrations.  Culminating with the hugely popular Vancouver Pride Parade and Festival on July 31, 2011, the week long series of Vancouver Pride events celebrates the LGBTQ communities of Vancouver!

Vancouver Pride 2011Educate, Liberate, Celebrate!

Back in 2008, the Vancouver Pride Society adopted a three-year theme of Educate, Liberate, Celebrate. In 2011, this three-year theme comes to a conclusion with Celebrate.

The Vancouver Pride Society challenges you to make Pride your celebration this summer: “At Pride, we celebrate for those who continue to fight for liberation around the world. We dance for those who can’t dance with Pride, we sing for those who are silenced and oppressed. We celebrate with you and for you.”
